| 07-24-08 .... Congratulations to John Broswell. John won his very first NAMBA Nationals Championship in G-1 Mono. The cover page of the District 19 web site is John coming out of the water after the traditional dunking. Needless to say, John was very nice about being tossed in the lake. He went in voluntarily. We have plenty of photos from the NAMBA Nats in Greeley, Colorado. The first are from Steve and Jan, owners of the Sodbuster Inn Bed and Breakfast where many District 19 boaters stayed. |

| 06-26-08 .... The heat racing points are now available as of the Camarillo Pond Rats race this past weekend. It's break time for the month of July as we prepare to attend the NAMBA Nitro and Gas Nationals in Greeley, Colorado. 12 boaters from District 19 will be attending the event so let's give them our best. | 05-14-08 ..... The upcoming District 19 Gas Benefit Race will be held in San Diego Memorial Day Weekend. Make your hotel reservations now as this is a holiday. There are many places to stay along hotel row minutes away from the pond. Everything from Motel 6 to the high end resorts. No overnight camping is allowed at the pond except for security. BBQ lunches will be available both days and the traditional Saturday after race steak BBQ will be prepared by Outlaw Racing. Contact Russ Stark for the special details. To be guaranteed your specially prepared steak will be waiting for you, please indicate so when you enter online. You can always change your mind to cancel.
